I am a graphic designer at ASM International, located in Geauga County, Ohio. ASM is the international headquarters for a multipurpose organization consisting of products (books, magazines, and technical journals), services (consulting, education, webinars, and events), and membership branches. We serve businesses, universities, organizations, government entities, and individual clients alike with the above products and services.

On the marketing team, I am responsible for meeting the graphics needs of the business. I regularly support teams who sell membership, digital databases, print books, organize yearly conferences and expos, and more. I am tasked with projects such as creating branding for ASM-hosted conferences, updating the print publication catalog, designing booth backdrops and signage for a conference, creating eye-catching print collateral and digital advertising, and much more. This position is very cross-functional and requires much organization and attention to detail. See samples of my projects below!

My first graphics job was at State and Federal Communications, Inc. in downtown Akron, Ohio. The company specializes in political compliance, keeping clients out of trouble with the ever-changing lobbying laws across the Americas and beyond. I started as an intern at State and Federal in February of 2018, and spent almost a year and a half learning, volunteering, and networking in the office and around the Greater Akron area thanks to the amazing opportunities offered in the internship program.

In September of 2019 I became Assistant Graphic Designer, and in February 2020 I was promoted to full-time as the Graphics and Digital Media Assistant. In this position, I continued to assist in creating graphics for the various conferences and events attended by staff and sponsored by the company. I created graphics to market the company's services, compiled proposals for clients and prospects, and worked to keep the company's image trend-informed and current. In addition to this, I worked with the Marketing manager to monitor and maintain our social media accounts and to edit and publish blog posts on the company blog LobbyComply. In 2018, I worked closely with the Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility in creating the inaugural CSR Annual Report, showcasing in a visual form, the company’s sustainability efforts and ability to be leaders in the community and industry. Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback, this became a yearly effort. I have linked the archive of these reports below.
